SINGER SONGWRITER PERFORMER
Jordyn Richards is a singer, songwriter, and performer based in Sydney, Australia. Her passion for music and introspective songwriting quickly captured the hearts of those in her local and wider communities. Starting her professional career at the age of 12, Jordyn has grown up in the Sydney music scene. As of 2020, Jordyn is a graduate of the prestigious Talent Development Project (TDP) through which she was mentored by many industry veterans. Other alumni of the TDP includes Sam Fischer, Angus and Julia Stone, Morgan Evans, Brad Cox and Human Nature. In 2021, Jordyn was part of the TikTok music reality docu-series: 'UNDSCVRD,’ The which accumulated 10 million+ views in the span of a few months. On the show she worked alongside and received much praise from The Veronicas, platinum award winning music producer James Angus, and award-winning director Storm Ashwood, to create her single debut single ‘Just One Girl.’ Her song ‘10’ received international recognition, winning 1st place in the UK Song Academy songwriting competition, and she performed her song ‘The World isn’t Ending’ as the opening act for Stand Tall 2021, Australia’s largest mental health awareness event for school kids which Jordyn continues to perform in and write music for. Jordyn performs regularly in the Sydney music scene as a headliner and opening act, at various restaurants, bars, private and corporate functions, weddings, and festivals, establishing a strong sense of professionalism and artistry.

Music & Memories
with Neuroscience Research Australia and Talent Development Project
In 2024, I was involved in a songwriting and research project that explored the link between music and memory and celebrated the lives of people living with dementia. I was paired with Ann Aboud, and was tasked to write a song for her after having the opportunity to get to know her and hearing some of her amazing stories.
With this song, my aim was to create a musical portrait; to capture the pivotal moments in Ann’s life, and explore the ways they were connected through family, friends, and love.
